Donna Pagakis has been interested in photography for 40 years now. She went to Brooks Institute of Photography, in Santa Barbara, in 1978. Back then she used a 4 by 5 Omega View and a 35mm SLR camera. Now she uses an SLR digital camera.

She lives in Southern California, close to the beach. Many of the images you will see on this site were captured along the coast. Her photographs have been purchased and are on display, in medical offices throughout San Diego County.

Donna loves to take images that are artistic in nature. She has been fortunate to live in a beautiful location and especially likes to visit the beach for sunsets. She is passionate about photographing flowers and taking portraits of her daughter.
Recently she entered the Tamron/Shutterbug Nature & Landscape photography contest. Over 2,000 images were entered. She won Grand Prize and was awarded the Tamron 18-270mm Di-II VC PZD Lens.

As a BetterPhoto member, Donna has won numerous awards. She is among the top 6 photographers in contest wins and 2nd in finalists.
